Lisa Thompson is an extremely accomplished mountaineer who lives in Seattle and was the second American woman to summit K2, which is both as dangerous and deadly expedition Mount Everest. Among her other mountaineering accomplishments are Tharke Khang, Kilaminjaro, Denali, plus many more mountains across six continents.
Lisa was also diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. During our evening conversation, she'll talk about resilience, self-reliance, and how her cancer diagnosis shifted her life priorities.
This talk will be more of a conversation with plenty of opportunities for you to ask questions of Lisa.
